Tvetagården´s hostel in Södertälje has now 2 international children via SOS international. A small girl in Peru and a small boy in Nigeria. We are glad to be able to give some help to these children and the world.

2010 we will participate on Earth Hour again

Tvetagarden hostel focuses even more on the environment.

In the energy measurement of our old fine house from 1920 it was proved that our energy performance is very good and below the reference values for similar buildings set by swedish authorities. Se more abour our environmental work at "about us"


As from today we also offer rental of sheets made of ecological cotton.

These are exciting days. Södertälje and our hostel is being filled by happy enthusiasts from the Motor historic society. Today they start their drive at Scania and the oldest vehicle is a lorry from 1928!!
On tuesdag the 16th of September our top local football team Assyriska is playing the serial final against rivalling Örgryte. Free entrance.
The 18th of September our local ice hockey team SSK starts this season against Frölunda.
The weekend 19-21/9 the Swedish championships in orienteering, long distance, will be held here.
The weekend afterwards it continues with middle distance and relays. During these days our house is sold out to competing teams and we wish them all very welcome.

We have plenty to do these most intensive weeks of the summer. The hostel is full of happy travellers visiting us and our beautiful surroundings. Slowly we are also getting back our regulars after the vacations. The people who are working here in Södertälje weekdays and stay with us. It is a very good mixture of guests and we are very pleased and grateful for everybody staying with us. This weekend there is a moutainbike race passing just by the lake. Then we are looking forward to receiving some of the competitors at our place. That will be very nice and everybody is very much welcome to Tvetagårdens hostel.

Hi

One really feels greatful to be able to spend the days here and be in charge of your own time. The house is fully booked with guests from all around the world such as Mongolia, Finland, Norway, Lithuania, Germany etc. etc. The sun is shining, the lawn has just been mowed and I have picked several litres of raspberries. The annex has ben repainted with new white colour. Ahhhhhh this is life!!!

The rain is pouring down today. We have a beatuiful rainbow just outside the window. I hope that the tresaure buried in our garden. Anyone who likes to have a look is welcome.

Tom Tits experiment has new experiment that is a Helium ballon where the visitor can go up 100 metres in the air. I can't help thinking about what would happen if the sting that attatches the ballon to the ground breaks...

We have done som refurnishing in the kitchen. Made a shelf where every guest can have their own self catering storage. Next on the list is some painting in the kitchen to make it a bit more bright.
